    Description

    This patch comes from the 53rd TEG Det 3 formally Det 2 57FW. The det has probably taken over much of the 4477th "Red Eagles"  mission to provide tactical evaluation of foreign aircraft. Its "off-location" operating base is most likely Groom Lake (Area 51) or the Tonopah Test Range (Area 52) This brand new patch  is 3 5/16" in length and 2 3/4" in width and made of 100% embroidery and has a plastic backing.
