    The 180th Tactical Airlift Squadron was the
    flying unit under the group
    It was inactivated on 15 March 1992 when it
    was redesignated as the 139th Airlift Group
    The 180th Tactical Airlift Squadron flew
    C-97F, KC-97L and C-130A/H aircraft
    This rare patch was made in 1961 - the unit
    has kept the same patch emblem even
    with different designations
